INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Augusta University men's basketball team has earned the No. 6 seed in the upcoming NCAA Southeast Region Tournament, as announced Sunday evening.
Head coach Dip Metress and the Jaguars (19-10) will face No. 3 seed Lenoir-Rhyne (26-5) in the opening round. The regional tournament will be hosted by top-seeded Columbus State (26-4).
Augusta secured its spot in the NCAA Tournament after another strong campaign in the Peach Belt Conference.
The full bracket for the NCAA Southeast Region Tournament is as follows:
- No. 1 Columbus State (26-4) vs. No. 8 Carson-Newman (21-11)
- No. 4 Lincoln Memorial (25-5) vs. No. 5 UNC Pembroke (23-6)
- No. 2 USC Aiken (23-8) vs. No. 7 Catawba (18-12)
- No. 3 Lenoir-Rhyne (26-5) vs. No. 6 Augusta (19-10)
