The Augusta University Department of Athletics is proud to celebrate the success of the sixth annual Augusta Gives and express our sincere thanks to the alumni, donors, families, and fans who continue to champion Jaguar Athletics.

Augusta University Athletics led all campus units in fundraising during Augusta Gives, with nearly 120 donors contributing close to $145,000 in support of Jaguar student-athletes.

Augusta Gives is the university's largest one-day fundraiser, benefiting colleges, units, and athletics. The initiative is powered by social media support and amplified by alumni, friends of the university, members of the community, major donors, along with students, faculty, and staff, who choose to make a meaningful impact through their gifts. The goal is simple — to inspire giving at every level and create lasting change for Augusta University.

"Augusta University provides a $1.5 billion economic impact, not just in Augusta, but throughout the state and region," said Kristina Baggott, interim vice president for development in Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. "It's truly inspiring to witness the impact we can achieve – in just one day – when our community members, alumni, business partners, students, as well as faculty and staff, come together. Augusta Gives supports scholarships, athletics, academics, research, innovation and other essential programs, and we are deeply thankful for the generous support that makes it all possible."

"We are beyond grateful for all the generous support shown to our athletics department during Augusta Gives," said Director of Athletics Ryan Erlacher. "We have an extremely loyal and energized fan base, and we can't thank our supporters enough for stepping up and making Augusta Gives a tremendous success. Their generosity will directly enhance and elevate the type of experience we can provide our student-athletes."

The Athletics total included funds raised for Men's Basketball during a special Athletics Power Hour sponsored by Riverside Refreshments.
