San Marcos, Tx. - After two rounds of the Southland Conference Championship, the Augusta women are now second, 10 shots out of the top spot, while
Zoe Pinillos remains in the lead for the individual title. Texas A&M Corpus Christi has take over the top spot followed by the Jaguars with Incarnate Word in third place. The winner of the tournament gets the automatic qualifier for the NCAA regionals.

Pinillos, who led after the opening round, posted an even-par 72 on Tuesday and still maintains the top spot. She had two bogies before making the turn to the back nine. She then birdied 14 and 17 to card the even par round. She has a two shot lead heading into the final round.
Junior
Marine Legentil moved up four spots and is now in seventh place. Legentil also posted an even-par 72. Her round featured four birdies and four bogies to remain in the thick of things, five shots behind Pinillos.
Sara Adams shot a two-over 74 on Tuesday and is ninth place overall. Adams had three birdies in the first five holes but a stretch of three straight bogies to start the back nine derailed her round.
Jessica Pilgrim is the other Jaguar in the lineup and shot 83 Tuesday.
Augusta will be paired with Texas A&M Corpus Christi in Wednesday's final round.
