Jacksonville, Fl. - After struggling in the opening round of the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate, the Augusta women's golf team rebounded in a big way and are currently in fourth place with one round to play. As a team, the Jaguars were 30-over-par after 18 holes, but fired a day's best 5-over-par in round two to climb up the leaderboard. The team's second round score tied for the best round of the opening two rounds. Oklahoma State currently has a two shot lead over Florida Gulf Coast with Tulsa in third.

LIVE SCORING 

Sofia Valera led the way for the Jaguars with rounds of 75-72 for a 3-over-par score. Valera is in fourth place by herself, just one shot out of second place. She kept the mistakes to a minimum and in her second round had one birdie and one bogey to go along with 16 pars on the day.

Sara Adams posted rounds of 81-70 and is 7-over-par, good enough for 15th place. Her second round consisted of five birdies and three bogeys and was one of the best rounds of any player on the day. 

After an opening round 80, Marine Legentil bounced back with a 75 and is in 12th place. Legentil had a birdie and four bogeys in the second round.

Keira Gonzalez-McCarthy had an opening round 82 that counted for the team score, but was unable to compete in the second round due to injury. 

Puntita Pawichai had an opening round 86, that did not count towards the team score, and rebounded with a 76 in round two. Pawichai had a birdie and five bogeys in her second round.

Playing as an individual, Danielle Higbee shot rounds of 80-81. 

The third and final round at Jacksonville GCC will be Tuesday morning.
