Augusta, Ga. - Augusta managed just three hits with
Parker Ingram delivering his 13th home run of the year to account for the lone run on Friday night as they fell to Georgia Southwestern 21-1. The Jaguars are now 6-17 in the Peach Berlt Conference and 10-35 overall. The Hurricanes improve to 15-8 in conference and 28-18 overall.
The Canes scored in every inning as the Jaguars struggled to slow down their offense.Â
AU did have a few chances early on but stranded seven runners on base in the first four innings. It was in the fifth when Ingram cracked a solo homer to account for the lone run of the game.Â
