AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Cheer Coach. This part-time position will oversee the university's cheer program, focusing on team development, game day support, and student engagement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of NCAA and NCA/UCA cheerleading rules and regulations. Responsibilities include choreography and practice planning, game day coordination, community outreach, and supporting the academic progress of student-athletes.

A minimum of one year of collegiate-level coaching experience is preferred. The coach will also be expected to foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports both the athletic and academic success of the team.
