AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Athletics supported Martinez Elementary School's Georgia Milestones pep rally on Friday, April 25. Members of the men's and women's basketball teams, along with the cheerleaders took part in the event, which aimed to energize and encourage students ahead of state testing.

The pep rally brought together students from all grade levels, with Augusta student-athletes and spirit team members helping to build excitement and promote a positive mindset. Their presence added energy and enthusiasm as the school community prepared for the annual assessments.

The visit was coordinated in partnership with Valery Dinkins, STEM Coordinator at Martinez Elementary, as part of the school's spring testing tradition. Augusta Athletics remains committed to serving local schools through outreach and involvement in events across the CSRA.
