Augusta University Athletics to Host Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 16

The Augusta University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is inviting the community to join in on a festive evening of fun at the SAAC Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, April 16 at the Christenberry Fieldhouse Intramural Field. The event will run from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The celebration kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with both a Kid Egg Hunt and an Augusta Baseball game, followed by a special Student Egg Hunt at 7:00 p.m. Attendees of all ages can look forward to food trucks, carnival games, vendor booths, and a dunk tank, with special prizes including special golden egg prize baskets.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. No drop-offs will be permitted.

SAAC is a leadership group made up of student-athletes from each of Augusta's NCAA Division II athletic programs. The committee serves as the voice of student-athletes on campus and aims to enhance the student-athlete experience through service, leadership development, and community engagement.

In keeping with its commitment to service, SAAC will be collecting donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during the event. Make-A-Wish is the official charitable partner of NCAA Division II and helps fulfill life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Every dollar raised helps support wishes granted through SAAC's ongoing efforts.
