AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University men's basketball coach Dip Metress announced the signing of guard DaRon Dunbar to the 2025-26 roster.

Hometown / Previous Team: North Augusta, S.C. / North Augusta High School

"I remember the first time I saw DaRon play his sophomore year and we have watched him evolve since then," said Metress. "He played at a great high school program at North Augusta HS and has a very efficient offensive game. We look forward to him improving in all areas and we think his best basketball is on the horizon."

Dunbar averaged 18.9 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game during his senior season at North Augusta High School.

He will join transfer Ryan Conway, who brings additional experience to Augusta basketball, and freshman Daniel Daramola in the Jaguars' 2025-26 signing class.
