AIKEN, S.C. – Augusta volleyball dropped a 3–1 decision to Alabama Huntsville on Thursday evening at the Convocation Center, 25-16, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16. The loss moved the Jaguars to 5-2 overall.
UAH (7-1) hit .261 with 55 kills, while Augusta was held to .117 with 45 kills. The Chargers also finished with 80 digs compared to 73 for the Jaguars.
Mia Saavedra led Augusta with 14 kills, nine digs, and two aces. Layne Witherspoon added 11 kills, while Sofiia Snitsarevych contributed nine kills on .250 hitting with five total blocks. Sydney Harrington directed the offense with 39 assists and added 12 digs, and Giulia Rodrigues paced the back row with a team-best 25 digs.
UAH was paced by Zoe Smith's 21 kills on .340 hitting and Caroline Moyer's 17 kills at a .289 clip.
