Greenville, S.C. - Augusta freshman golfer
Puntita Pawichai registered a seventh place finish at the annual Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman University. As a team, the Jaguars finished 12th after posting their best score of the tournament. Alabama picked up the easy team win followed by High Point with Minnesota and Furman finishing in a tie for third.

Pawichai finished with a 3-under-par 69 on the day and was 4-under-par for the event. She carded six birdies on the day and moved up six places on the leaderboard.
Sara Adams had her best round of the tournament and was 1-over-par on the day. She rolled home four birdies on Sunday.
The third team score was turned in by
Marine Legentil, who shot 76. Legentil finished in 48th place overall.
Danielle Higbee had the final team counting score after she posted a round of 77.
Sofia Valera shot a 6-over-par 78 for the non-counting score for the Jags.
Competing as an individual,
Jessica Pilgrim wrapped up play with a 1-over-par 73, one of her best rounds since coming to Augusta. Pilgrim had two birdies and three bogeys on her scorecard.
Augusta will next be in action Sept. 28-30 at the Windy City Invitational.
