COCHRAN, Ga. – Augusta built a 13-point halftime lead, but Middle Georgia put together a strong second half to pull away for a 76–68 win Saturday afternoon at Morris Gym.
The Jaguars came out aggressive and controlled the opening half, shooting 50 percent from the floor while holding Middle Georgia to 43.5 percent. Tobias Prall knocked down a pair of early threes, Charlie McBeath scored consistently inside, and Evan Joyner provided a spark off the bench as Augusta pushed the lead to as many as 19.
