North Myrtle Beach, S.C. - The Augusta men's golf team followed up their win at their last event with a third place finish at the Surf Club Invitational at the Surf Golf and Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. Georgia State would win the team title by three shots over Elon followed by the Jaguars.
Dean Wilken was the low Augusta golfer in the final round as he posted a 3-under-par 68.

Every team finished the second round this morning before starting the final 18 holes as Augusta maintained their third place.
For Wilken, he started the day with two straight birdies and ended up carding six of them on the day. He had three bogeys for his final score as he finished in a tie for 23rd overall.
The low Jaguar for the tournament was
Bo Blanchard II. Blanchard shot 70 in the final round and finished at 5-under-par overall, good enough for 14th place.
Pieter Rossouw Jr. and
Chapman Barnett both shot even-par 71 in the final round. Both had three birdies in third final round.
The non-counting team score was turned in by
Josh Daniels, who shot 72 on Tuesday.
Augusta will be right back in action Saturday and Sunday at the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern.
