Augusta, Ga.- It's a busy week of golf for the Augusta University men. After posting a third place finish at the Surf Club Invitational to start the week, the Jags are right back in action at the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern. 

AU is one of 15 teams in the field that includes Notre Dame, Maryland, Indiana and West Virginia.

Augusta is riding high after a third place finish this week and a win in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. As the Jaguars proved last year, momentum is a real thing as they look to ride the wave in Statesdboro, Ga. 

"We got some really good momentum at the end of last year so we hope to carry it," said coach Steven Paine. "Guys are seeing red numbers, good results and seeing some good scores and we hope to carry that into these last few events." 

The Jags are seeing good scores posted by more than one or two guys in the lineup which goes along way towards posting solid finishes every tournament.

The Schenkel Invitational will be contested at Forest Heights Country Club with 18 holes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
