Statesboro, Ga. - After 18 holes of the Schenkel Invitational hosted by Georgia Southern, the Augusta men are in a four way tie for seventh place.
Bo Blanchard II is the low Jaguar and is in 10th place after the opening round. In the team portion, it's the host school on top, followed by Yale and Utah, who are in a tie for second place

Blanchard rolled home four birdies on the front nine and had a single bogey on the back nine for his total score of 3-under-par.
Chapman Barnett posted a round of 73. Barnett did make four birdies during his round.
Stefan Jacobs and
Dean Wilken each recorded 2-over-par 74s on the day. Jacobs had four birdies, but a couple of double bogeys sidetracked his round.
For Wilken his scorecard was pretty clean with two early birdies. A bogey and a triple bogey cost him his round.
The non-counting score for the day belonged to
Pieter Rossouw Jr. with an 80. Rossouw did have an eagle to highlight his round.
Augusta will start the second round at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Forest Heights Country Club.
