Pieter Rossouw Jr. was 1-under-par on Tuesday and would be the low Augusta golfer at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Houston. Rossouw finished in 34th place with three birdies and an eagle in the final round, while the Jaguar team wrapped up play in 16th place. In the tournament that featured some of the highest ranked teams in the nation, No. 10 Texas Tech would win the team title and were followed by No. 1 Auburn and No. 6 Texas.

The second best round of the day for Augusta was turned in by freshman
Josh Daniels who shot 69. Daniels had a wild round that featured seven birdies and just six pars on the scorecard. He did have a stretch of four straight birdies.
Bo Blanchard II shot an even-par 71 Tuesday. Blanchard had a stretch of three straight birdies and finished with four of them on the day.
Stefan Jacobs shot a 75 for the last team counting score.
Mason Fundingsland had the non-counting score of the day with a 78.
Augusta will next be in action when they host the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. April 4-5.Â
