Augusta, Ga. - The Augusta University men's golf team will complete their regular season on Monday and Tuesday at the Ford Collegiate in Richmond Hill, Georgia. The Jaguars will tee it up against some of the top teams in the nation including No. 1 Auburn.
AU is coming off a 10th place finish at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as they look to start to peak before the West Coast Confernece Championship in a couple of weeks.
"We've shown signs of the guys putting it all together like we did when we won in New Orleans, but now we're just looking for more consistency," said coach Steven Paine. "It'd be great to have everyone playing their best golf this time of year and play three solid rounds. This would be tournament to do just that."
Besides Auburn, the field features Texas, Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma and Georgia.
The 54 hole event will be contested at Ford Field and River Club and hosted by Georgia Southern.
