Morrow, Ga.- On a Wednesday night in mid-February, Augusta coach Dip Metress collected career win No. 600 with a 82-60 win over Clayton St. 

With family, friends, and former Jaguars on hand, Metress checked off another box on his career resume with the easy victory. 

Metress has collected 416 of those wins while leading Augusta as he prepares for his 23rd season with the Jaguars. All told, Metress now has a 601-280 career record and continues to climb in the career wins record books. 

He started his head coaching career at Belmont Abbey and was hired at Augusta prior to the 2004-05 season.

His resume is as good as any ones having made 16 NCAA Tournaments as well as two national title games and four trips to the elite eight.
