LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The GRU Augusta men's and women's cross country teams raced the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky., Saturday, Oct. 4, with the women earning eighth out of 46 teams and the men finishing 35th in the field of 42 teams at Tom Sawyer Park.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
Hosted by the University of Louisville and Louisville Sports Commission (LSC), the 13th Greater Louisville Classic welcomed 125 colleges and universities from 24 states and Canada. The Jaguar men raced in the blue meet, while the women competed in the silver. The GLC hosted over five races on Saturday.
Sophomore Nick Del Guercio paced the Jaguar men for the third time this season, crossing the line at 26:17.05 for 113th out of 356 racers. Freshman Dylan Forester finished second for GRU and 133rd overall in 26:27.62, Jackson Jacobs took 202nd in 27:04.59, and Josh Thompson took 211th in 27:10.54.
Staying close to one another, Boyd Guttery notched 221st (27:16.62), Caleb Watson 225th (27:18.84) and Jordan Herbert 262nd (27:48.55) to round out the Jaguars.
The Jaguar women ran after the men and finished eighth out of 46 teams. 404 women competed in the silver race and GRU sophomore Jordan Humphrey earned a top-20 finish with a time of 19:09.41 for 13th. Sophomore Olivia Rodriguez returned to form at the GLC and took 39th in 19:44.05. Next for the Jags was Tia Ponsell in 20:06.54 for 76th and Amber Palermo took 93rd in 20:15.87.
Diana Petrmichlova finished 128th (20:38.00), Taylor Shaw 166th (21:03.21), and Morgan Ryffe 313th in 23:19.88. The Jags
