AUGUSTA, Ga.
– South Carolina State swept all six singles matches
en route to a 6-1 win over Augusta State Friday afternoon in a
non-conference men's tennis match at Newman Tennis
Center.
The 21st-ranked Jaguars (3-2) claimed two of the three doubles
matches to avoid the shutout. The teams followed the Division I
format, in which the team that claims two of the three doubles
matches wins one point.
The ASU duo of Bernardo Fernandes and Jenner Stevenson and the
tandem of Frederico Mendes and Henrique Boturao posted wins for the
Jaguars.
ASU hosts Lander on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Newman Tennis Center.
