AUGUSTA, Ga - The Augusta University women's volleyball swept the Young Harris Mountain Lions on Saturday. Augusta improves to 19-8 (6-3 PBC) while Young Harris falls to 3-20 (0-9 PBC).
AU will celebrate senior day on Friday Nov. 12
th at 4:00pm prior to its match against Lander.
Augusta was dominant in every set, winning 25-12, 25-11, 25-8. The home team held Young Harris to a .093 hitting percentage. Augusta hit a blistering .483 in the final set of the match.
Augusta was led by
Julie Archer. The senior registered 12 kills to lead the balanced offensive attack.
Alyssa Frazier and
Kylie Martin each had 9 kills.
Chloe Allen had 8 kills and
Alexis Diaz-Infante had 7.
For the second game in a row, four Jaguars had double-digit kills in the matchup. Libero
Holland Martin led with 15 digs.
Samantha Zittrauer dished 26 assists while
Ally Thees had 13.
