Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University Jaguars fell after allowing nationally ranked Lander to pull away late in the game. AU moves to 5-6, 4-3 in the PBC while the No. 2 Lander Bearcats continue their perfect 14-0 season.

Zairya West led Augusta with 17 points while Kennedi Manning added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds while also blocking three shots. Kiera Howard led the AU with six assists.
The Jaguars were even with the Bearcats with 34 points in the paint. The home team outrebounded the Jags 46-32.
Augusta led 6-1 early after the home team missed their first five shots. The game stayed tight until Augusta extended their lead to 6 off of a made 3-pointer by Asia Harrison with 4:50 left in the first quarter. A shot from beyond the arc by Lander's Jakiyah Parker brought the game back within 1 with 2:39 left in the second quarter. The home team went to the locker room at half up 26-25. Lander opened their lead, with a made lay-up by Sarah Crews pushing the lead to 48-38. A made free throw by Kennedi Manning brought the score to 53-57 with 4:24 left in the game, but the Jags were unable to take the lead and fell 70-57 to one of the nation's top teams.
Lander was led by Makaila Cange's 23 points and Zamiya Passmore's 11 points.
