Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's volleyball team took down Flagler 3-1 in a Peach Belt Conference match at Christenberry Fieldhouse Friday night. Augusta sophomore Nedu Evans recorded a season-high 10 kills in the victory.
The Jaguars (5-2, 5-2) returned to the 'Berry on Friday night to face Flagler (9-3, 7-1) after two road matches.
Kylie Martin led with 12 kills and 15 digs, notching yet another double-double in her career. Three other Jaguars were in double-digit kills, each notching 10 kills. Nedu Evans tallied 10 kills with no errors, hitting a .435 for the night. Preseason all-conference selection Chloe Allen added her own 10 kills, hitting an impressive .304. Senior Alyssa Frazier matched with her own 10 kills.
Libero Holland Martin led the defensive effort with 21 digs.
Samantha Ziattrauer led the setting corps with 25 assists and 7 digs.
Flagler was led by Rebekah Machovec's 10 kills. Augusta hit a .179 to Flagler's .032 attack percentage.
Augusta hosts Georgia College on Saturday, March 27th at 3:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
