KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The Augusta University men's basketball continues its ascent, ranking No. 11 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Poll released on Tuesday afternoon.
" We look forward to finishing out our non-conference schedule with Emmanuel on New Year's Eve and then it is time to buckle up and play Peach Belt play and as the National Poll indicates the Peach Belt is shaping up to be one fun ride this year." said head coach

For the first time this year, there are three Peach Belt Conference teams ranked in the Top 25. Young Harris (10-0, 2-0 PBC) is ranked No. 18 and North Georgia (9-1, 2-0 PBC)
Since the last poll was released, Augusta (10-1, 2-0-PBC) has picked up three impressive wins, topping Columbus State 83-65 before downing Reinhardt 90-49. The Jaguars also defeated Newbery 81-72 on Dec 19.
The senior class of
Tyshaun Crawford,
Darren Lucas-White,
Miguel Arnold, and
Tyree Myers continue to pace the Augusta offense. Crawford is averaging 21.4 points and 9.6 rebounds while Arnold is averaging 16.0 points per game. Lucas-White and Myers are both turning in over 9 points and 3.5 assists per game
To close 2022, the Jaguars will host Emmanuel on New Year's Eve at 12:00pm. AU will return to PBC play on Wednesday Jan. 4 when they travel to take on Georgia College. Live stats and video will be available at augustajags.com
