OAKWOOD.- The Augusta men's cross country team is National Championship bound after earning second place at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship on the campus of North Georgia. The Jaguars will compete in the national meet in Joplin, Missouri on Nov. 18
RESULTS
All seen competing Augusta runners finished in the top 30, with two top10 finishes.
Avery Jaynes and
Brandon Martin paced the Jaguars, with Jaynes coming across the line first in 29:50.9 to finish ninth. Martin finished less than a second later, finishing tenth overall with a time of 29:58.6 in his 10k.
Jordan Robertson also registered a top-15 finish, turning in a time of 30:12.4.

Thomas Rischar (30:38.4) and
Carlos Rodriguez (30:41.2) finished their races in 21
st and 22
nd.
Andrew Todd carded a 10k time of 31:09.5 for 30
th place.
The Jaguar men earned 76 team points for their second place finish out of 28 teams. The top three teams were the following: No. 1 Wingate University (15), No.2 Augusta University (76) and No.3 Catawba (95).

The top three teams advance to the NCAA National Championship in Joplin, Missouri on Nov. 18. The top three individuals from teams not advancing will qualify to compete in the national meet. More information about the National Championships will be forthcoming at augustajags.com
