SAVANNAH, GA.- In their final event of the fall season, the Augusta University women's golf team fnished with a ninth place finish at The Southern hosted by Georgia Southern. The Jaguars were consistent all three round posting scores of 311-313-311 with a final score of 935. Georgia Southern won the tournament, followed by Campbell and Charlotte.
Marine Legentil had a solid three rounds and finished 12th on the individual front. Legintil, a freshman from France, fired a final round 76 and was +9 for the tournament. She had a pair of birdies on the scorecard in the round.
Zoe Pinillos also had a solid tournament and finished in a tie for 20th place. Like Legintill, she too shot a 76 today and finished at +14.
The other two counting scores on the day were turned in by
Jessica Pilgrim (79) and
Sara Adams (80).
Augusta will now be off until the spring campaign starts in February when they travel to Orlando, Fl. for the University of Central Florida Challenge.
