South Bend, IN- After spending a week in the Midwest, the Augusta University men's golf team is in South Bend, Indiana, ready to tee it up in the Fighting Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame.
This year's Fighting Irish Classic features 15 teams including Tennessee, UCLA, Purdue and Duke.
The Jaguars are coming off a 12th place finish in the Windon Memorial Classic and look to improve against 14 other teams. The Fighting Irish Classic features 36 holes on Sunday, Oct. 6 with the final 18 holes on Monday, Oct. 7.
Pieter Rossouw Jr. is coming off his best tournament of the year as he finished in 32nd place a week ago.
Stefan Jacobs has been the most consistent golfer in the fall with a top five finish in the opening tournament of the year, followed by a top 40 finish in the Windon Memorial Classic.
Bo Blanchard II has also posted a pair of top 50 finishes.
