NOTRE DAME, IN- Firing their best round of the tournament, the Augusta University men's golf team posted a score of +11 and finished in 11th place at the Fighting Irish Classic. Overall, the Jaguars finished at +38, two shots ahead of Michigan State. Notre Dame won the tournament in convincing fashion and were the only school under par for the three rounds. They were followed by Purdue and Louisville.
Bo Blanchard II had the best round of the day for AU and was even par. Blanchard finished +6 in 22nd place. He had two birdies and two bogeys on his otherwise clean scorecard. 
Stefan Jacobs was +1 on the day and finished in 28th place. 
Mason Fundingsland and 
Pieter Rossouw Jr. were both +5 on the day for the other team counting scores. 
Chapman Barnett, who competed as an individual, was +2 for the day and brings home a 28th place finish, his best of the fall tournaments. 
Augusta will now finish up the fall portion of their schedule in the Williams Cup, hosted by North Carolina Oct. 20-22 in Willmington, NC.
