Jordan Robertson from Augusta University men's cross country and
Jada Suguturaga from Augusta volleyball have been named the Georgia's Own Student-Athletes of the Month for November. The Georgia's Own Student-Athlete of the Month Award honors one male and one female Augusta University student-athlete from an in-season sport for their hard work and effort.
Jordan Robertson - men's cross country
To start the month, senior
Jordan Robertson turned in a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Spartanburg, South Carolina. His time of 30:05.6 in the 10k earned him All-Region honors and helped the Jags to an NCAA National Championship appearance. He then became the first Augusta University runner ever to make the NCAA Division II all-America team by finishing 32nd in the cross-country national championships in Sacramento, Calif., on Nov. 23. The senior from Newnan, Georgia, and transfer from Emmanuel, turned in an outstanding performance with a 10ktime of 30:19.7. He finished 29th in scoring.
Jada Suguturaga - volleyball
Jada Suguturaga, a senior middle hitter from South Jordan, Utah, proved herself as one of the best blockers in the nation. She led the PBC in blocks (1.46 per set) and ranks in the top ten for points. During November, she appeared in all 33 sets plated, where she averaged 1.64 kills per set and 1.46 blocks per set. Her performance led the team to a PBC tournament finals appearance. Suguturaga was honored on the D2CAA Volleyball All-Region team
