AUGUSTA, GA – Senior volleyball players
Sophia Kruczko and
Jada Suguturaga earned all-southeast region honors after the completion of the regular season.
Kruczko, a 6-foot-3 senior right-side hitter, received her first all-region honor from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) after being named to the Peach Belt (PBC) all-conference team. The Cary, North Carolina native is eighth in the PBC for kills.
Suguturaga, a 6-foot-1 senior middle hitter from South Jordan, Utah, has proven herself as one of the best blockers in the nation. She leads the PBC in blocks (1.46 per set) and ranks in the top-ten for points. Suguturaga was honored on the D2CAA Volleyball All-Region team.
The Jaguars take a 20-7 overall record this year into the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional this weekend at Wingate, North Carolina. The team faces Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. Live stats and video available at augustajags.com.
