CLEVELAND, TN – The Augusta University men's track and field team competed at the Lee Flames Invitational over the weekend. The weekend was filled with personal best distance times, highlighted by Avery Jayes setting the school record for the 10k run.
Jaynes posted a time of 30:05 in the 10,000m event, a new school record for Augusta. The time was also enough for a NCAA DII provisional mark.
Thomas Rischar ran a 30.27, just behind Jaynes for the second-best Augusta University individual time in school history. In his 10k debut,
Jordan Robertson turned in a time of 30:54.81. All nine of the AU runners in the 10k set sew personal records.
