Emily McBride Named USTFCCCA All-Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Emily McBride of Augusta Women's Track & Field was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Southeast for her performance in the 3000m steeplechase.

McBride had an impressive first season as a Jaguar. She broke the school record for the steeplechase -and broke her own record several times during the year. She was the only steeplechase runner in the Peach Belt to hit NCAA DII Provision times.  McBride was named All-Conference taking first place in the event at the PBC Championships, finishing in 10:53.04, almost 20 seconds faster than the next finisher.


The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, as did each member of a top-3-ranked relay team. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
