MADISON, Wis. — Augusta University women's golf wrapped up the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course with a 12th-place finish. Keira Gonzalez-McCarthy led the Jaguars with an impressive performance, shooting rounds of 74-71-71 to finish tied for 6th at +1. She tallied six birdies across the tournament, including crucial ones on the par-3 5th hole, securing her spot in the top 10.
Sarah Adams followed with a +17 (83-71-79), tying for 46th. Zoe Pinillos finished at +23 (84-77-78), placing her in a tie for 61st. Marine Legentil (78-85-80) and Jess Pilgrm (80-86-77) rounded out the Augusta lineup.
The Jaguars completed the tournament with a team score of 927 (+63), competing against a strong field of 13 teams. Delaware won the team title at +22 (886), followed closely by Sam Houston State at +29 (893).
Augusta's next event will be the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C., from September 20-22
