MADISON, Wis. — Augusta University's women's golf team completed its first round under first-year head coach Ember Holloway on Sunday. After the first round of the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course (par 72/6,248 yards) the Jags currently sit in 12th place after posting a team score of +27.
Keira Gonzalez-McCarthy led the team with a 2-over-par 74, putting her in a tie for 15th.
Marine Legentil posted a 6-over-par 78, tying for 38th, while Jess Pilgrim shot an 8-over-par 80, to finish the day T-50.
Sara Adams carded an 11-over-par 83 and
Zoe Pinillos rounded out the squad with a 12-over-par 84.
UTSA, who leads the 13-team field at 7-over-par is followed by Delaware and Rutgers. The Jaguars are paired off with South Dakota State and St. Thomas on Monday and tee off at 9:30 am from hole 10. Follow along live at augustajags.com
