AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta senior Nasrudin Mohamed has earned Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week honors for the third race in a row, continuing an impressive start to his 2025 cross country campaign.
Mohamed posted a personal-best 8k time of 24:51.3 at the Royals Cross Country Challenge, finishing 11th overall in a deep field of Division I and II competitors. His performance also marked the second-fastest 8k time in the conference this season.
He previously claimed first place at the GCSU Bobcat Invite with a time of 25:44.4 and opened the season with a 21st-place finish at the Queen City Invite, crossing the line in 25:08.4.
Mohamed joins Augusta women's cross country runner Madison Thomas as the only runners in the conference to earn the weekly honor after every race this season.
