Augusta Men's Tennis Climbs to No. 33 in National Rankings

Both Jaguar Tennis Programs Ranked in Top 50

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team has climbed to No. 33 in the latest ITA Division II national rankings, continuing a standout season in one of the nation's deepest and most competitive regions. The Jaguars (11-6) are part of the stacked Southeast Region and compete in the Peach Belt Conference, which currently features five nationally ranked programs.

Within the Peach Belt, North Georgia sits at No. 21, followed by No. 24 Lander, No. 25 Columbus State, and No. 35 Georgia College. The Jaguars have tested themselves throughout the spring, earning non-conference wins over several regional opponents and pushing nationally ranked foes to the limit.

Augusta's resume includes a win over No. 45 Lenoir-Rhyne and a hard-fought split against No. 41 Belmont Abbey. The team also battled No. 24 Lander in a narrow 4-3 contest. Most recently, Augusta posted back-to-back victories over Emmanuel and Montevallo at home and will close the regular season at Flagler on April 17 before heading to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

This week's rankings also mark a program milestone as both Jaguar tennis teams are featured in the ITA Division II Top 50 for the first time this season. The Augusta women's team joins the national rankings alongside the men, reinforcing the program's growing success on both sides.
