Kerrville, Tx. - With just 18 holes to play, the Augusta men's golf team holds a four shot lead over Incarnate Word at the Southland Conference Championship. At stake, an automatic qualifying spot for the NCAA golf regionals. The Jaguars are -11 with Incarnate Word at -7. On the individual front,
Bo Blanchard II still holds the lead at -11. He is up three shots over his nearest competitor.

LIVE SCORING
As a team, Augusta improved by five shots today and was -8. Blanchard was rock solid and posted five birdies en route to a 67. Other than his five birdies, everything else was par on a clean scorecard. He holds the lead over Ken-Martin Soo, of Incarnate Word, who shot a 64 on Tuesday to jump into contention.
The Jags
Pieter Rossouw Jr. is now in third place five shots off the lead. Rossouw posted a 68 today with six birdies and just a pair of bogies. He registered three birdies on each nine.
Chapman Barnett improved by four shots on Tuesday and shot a one-under 71. Four birdies and three bogies dotted his scorecard for his final tally.
After registering a 74 on Monday,
Stefan Jacobs followed up with another 74 in round two. Jacobs finished strong with two birdies in his last five holes.
Dean Wilken shot a 76 as the score that did not count towards the team total. Wilken started with two straight birdies but six bogies and a double bogey cost him.
Augusta will start their final round at 1 p.m. CST as they look to claim another conference championship.
