Statesboro, Ga. - Four Jaguar golfers participated in the Thomas Sharkey Individual Intercollegiate with
Dean Wilken coming in fifth place.
Wilken shot rounds of 72-70-71 for his five-under-par total. He was one of five golfers to finish under par for the event at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course. Wilken had 11 birdies and an eagle over the three rounds of competition.
Pascal Gunther,
Josh Daniels, and
Mason Fundingsland were also in the field.
Gunther and Daniels both finished in a tie for 15th place at eight-over-par. After a rough start to the tournament, Gunther was one-under-par in round two, which is where he made up most of the shots. Daniels shot rounds of 73-75-76 for his total.
Fundingsland shot rounds of 75-71 on Saturday, but struggled on Sunday and finished at 13-over-par.
As a team, the Jaguars will start the spring part of their season Feb. 23-24 when they travel to New Orleans, La. for the Gulf Coast Collegiate.
