TEMPE, Ariz. – The Augusta University women's tennis team earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2024-25 academic year, as announced by the ITA on Monday. Six Jaguars were named ITA Scholar-Athletes following another strong year in the classroom that saw the team finish with a 3.60 GPA.
ITA Scholar-Athlete honors went to Giovanna Patrocinio, Sofia Marquez, Camila Taborga, Silvana Figueroa, Julieta Palma, and Andrea Gonzalez.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must:
For a team to qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team, it must:

Have a team GPA of 3.2 or higher

Include all student-athletes on the eligibility form

Factor all varsity letterwinners into the team GPA
The Jaguars posted a 3.60 team GPA, continuing the program's tradition of academic excellence.
