iPalm City, Fl. - In their toughest tournament of the year with a field of 14 teams ranked in the top 30 in the nation, the Augusta men's golf team is in 16th place after the opening two rounds of the three-round event in Floirda. As a team the Jaguars are 12-over-par. No. 1 Auburn leads the stacked field with No. 10 Texas Tech in second and No. 7 Texas in third. Pieter Rossouw Jr. is the low Jaguar at 2-under-par.

Rossouw opened with a 4-under-par 62 in the opening round and then posted a 74 in round two. He did make eight birdies on the day.

Bo Blanchard II and Josh Daniels are both at 5-over-par. Blanchard started with a 71 and then shot 76 in round two. For Daniels, he posted rounds of 76-71 with three birdies and an eagle over the two rounds.

Stefan Jacobs had rounds of 75-74 with four total birdies.

Mason Fundingsland opened with a 73, but then carded an 80 in round two. In Fundingsland opening round, he rolled home four birdies. 

The third and final round will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Florida National Golf Club.
