Due West, S.C. - Freshman
Ryker Benz had four hits and five runs driven in, but it was Erskine knocking off Augusta 29-11 Tuesday in Due West, S.C. The Jaguars are now 15-15 while the Flying Fleet improve to 19-14.
Aidan Cannaday continued his hot hitting with a two-run homer and two runs scored. His homer put AU on the board in the fourth.
Benz would then double home Cannaday and
Nolan Turner in the fifth inning.
Augusta would score seven times in the eighth inning with Benz picking up a three-run double with
Jake Johnson also doubling home a run.
Duncan Staniszewski would come up with a two-run double as well.
Erskine scored 12 runs in the first two innings and never looked back.
Augusta will return to action Wednesday night in the annual Battle for the Paddle against USCA at SRP Park.
