AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's tennis team is ranked No. 30 in the latest ITA Division II national rankings as the Jaguars continue their 2026 spring campaign in one of the toughest regions in the country.
Augusta sits at 4-4 overall after opening the season against a challenging schedule that has included multiple nationally ranked and Division I opponents. The Jaguars have already secured several close victories this spring, including 4-3 wins over Emmanuel, Coker, and Francis Marion.
Most recently, Augusta delivered its biggest result of the season with a dominant 4-0 victory over No. 12 Assumption in Hilton Head, showcasing the team's depth across both singles and doubles play.
The Jaguars also faced a number of strong opponents early in the year, including Belmont Abbey as well as Division I programs Campbell and The Citadel, with both matches decided by narrow 4-3 margins.
Augusta competes in the Peach Belt Conference, which continues to be one of the strongest leagues in Division II tennis. Flagler leads the conference at No. 5 nationally, while North Georgia sits at No. 7, Lander at No. 11, and Columbus State at No. 17.
Despite the depth within the conference, Augusta remains firmly inside the national Top 30 and continues to build momentum as Peach Belt Conference play approaches.
