Aiken, S.C. - Augusta collected just two runs and five hits and fell to USCA 13-2 Friday at Roberto Hernandez Stadium in Aiken, S.C. The Jaguars are now 16-23 overall and 11-12 in Peach Belt Conference action while the Pacers improve to 29-12 overall and 16-7 in conference play.
Augusta scored both of their runs in the second inning. After the Jags loaded the bases,
Harris Bachelder would score on a wild pitch. Then, with the bases still full,
Landon Leonard was hit by a pitch allowing
Jake Vachon to score.
Nolan Turner had two of the five AU hits with Leonard, Bachelder and
Aidan Cannaday collecting the other three.
USCA scored two in the second followed by three runs in the third and fourth inning to blow things open.
The series will conclude Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
