ATLANTA, Ga. – Augusta University women's track & field wrapped up the regular season Saturday at the Georgia Tech Invitational, posting strong performances across sprints, middle distance, relays, and field events against a deep field of competition.
Augusta was led by several season-best efforts on the track.
In the 400 meters, freshman Thanna Davis paced the Jaguars with a time of 56.70, while Ava Adams followed in 58.37.
Adams also led Augusta in the 200 meters, crossing in 25.25. Madison Mitchell added a time of 25.73, and Josalyn Branch finished in 26.22.
Mitchell posted Augusta's top time in the 100 meters at 12.40, while Branch followed in 12.57.
The Jaguars showed depth in the 800 meters, led by Josabeth Graciano in 2:19.48 and Caleigh Munro in 2:19.89. Grace Gyetko added a time of 2:23.01, while Brie Andrews finished in 2:31.59.
In the 1,500 meters, Munro led the Jaguars with a time of 4:41.81. Gabby Jourdain followed in 4:45.09, Madison Thomas ran 4:47.29, and Graciano posted 4:51.09.
Danielle Thayer represented Augusta in the 5,000 meters, finishing in 18:47.69.
Augusta also competed in two relays. The 4x100 team of Taneiha Bowman, Thanna Davis, Janiya England, and Josalyn Branch finished in 48.20, while the 4x400 squad of Kennedy McDonald, Ava Adams, Cameron Wade, and Davis recorded a time of 3:50.66.
In the field events, Nadiyah Byard cleared 1.57 meters (5-1.75) in the high jump, and Jala Williams posted a mark of 11.38 meters (37-4) in the shot put.
Augusta will compete at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 1-2.
