Augusta, Ga. - Augusta dropped an 11-1 decision to Flagler Saturday evening at Jaguar Field. Augusta managed just six hits with their lone run of the game coming in the first inning. The Jaguars are now 12-16 in the Peach Belt Conference and 18-28 overall. The Saints improve to 19-10 in the conference and 32-15 overall.
The lone AU run came on a double steal when
Aidan Cannaday stole second and
Nolan Turner raced home on the backend for the first run of the ballgame.
Flalger would then score six runs in the third to bust things open and added a run in the fourth, two runs in the seventh and then two more in the eighth for the winning margin.
Landon Leonard led the offense with a pair of hits with
Carter Morris,
Gavin Wright,
Jake Vachon and
Wyatt Talik each picking up one hit each.
The series wrap up the series Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with the senior day at Jaguar Field.
