AIKEN, S.C. -- Augusta State fell to USC Aiken 3-1 in Peach Belt Conference action Friday night at the Convocation Center in Aiken.

Junior Jessica Howard paced the Jaguars with 16 kills, while freshman Ashley Zappitell tallied 25 assists. Lindsey Weider added a team-high 12 digs.

The Pacers were led by Megan Disney's 14 kills and Stefanie Durham's nine kills and 19 digs.

ASU (8-14, 0-4) returns to action Saturday, October 4, when they travel to Greenwood, S.C. to face off against Lander in a conference matchup. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
