ATLANTA, Ga.
--Augusta State swept Clark-Atlanta 3-0 Tuesday night in a
non-conference match in Atlanta, Ga. With the victory, ASU improved
its record to 12-8 on the season.
Senior Jessica Howard led ASU with 16 kills and two blocks. Also
aiding in the win for the Jags was sophomore Lagi Roberts, who
booked eight kills and 13 digs, while junior Tarah Childress
notched seven kills. Sophomore setter Ashley Zappitell netted 34
assists and senior libero Lindsey Weider added 14 digs.
The Jags are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 7, when they host
UNC Pembroke in a Peach Belt Conference match in Christenberry
Fieldhouse. The first serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
