AIKEN, S.C. -- Augusta State suffered a pair of losses Saturday on day two of the USC Aiken Invitational at the Convocation Center.

The Jaguars dropped a 3-1 decision vs. Wheeling Jesuit at noon. ASU then faced Florida Tech at 4:00 p.m., and was blanked 3-0 by the Panthers.

Freshman Alex Rohlfing posted a team-high 11 kills and added 11 digs vs. the Cardinals, her fourth double-double in the Jags' first eight matches. Junior setter Krystin Wahlig tallied 19 assists and sophomore Andria Tagarelli notched 18 digs.

Against Florida Tech, Rohlfing again paced ASU offensively with 15 kills. Junior Mandy Irizarry booked 10 kills, while Wahlig had 29 assists and freshman libero Collette Richards added 11 digs.

The Jags make their 2011 home debut and open their Peach Belt Conference schedule vs. Lander on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7:00 p.m., in Christenberry Fieldhouse. Admission is free to all ASU Volleyball contests.
