AUGUSTA, GA – The Peach Belt Conference has released the 2021 volleyball All-Conference team. Augusta's
Chloe Allen was named the PBC Player of the Year and USC Aiken's Kari Mercer the Libero/Specialist of the Year. Flagler was also well represented as Kennedy Muff was named the Setter of the Year and recipient of the Elite 16 Award, Jordan Berglin the Freshman of the Year and Matt Affolder the Coach of the Year.
A senior middle hitter from Richmond Hill, Ga., Allen earns her third All-Conference award after guiding the Jaguars to a 20-win season and the second seed in the upcoming PBC Tournament. She played in 105 of AU's 110 sets this season, averaging 2.60 kills and 1.66 digs per set. She was second on the team and ninth in the PBC in kills per set, sixth in total kills and also sixth in the PBC in blocks per set. Allen becomes the second Jaguar to be named the PBC Player of the Year, the first since Jessica Howard in 2009.
Along with Allen, Augusta Senior
Kylie Martin was also voted 1
st Team All-Conference. The senior from Gypsum Colorado was voted Pre-season All-Conference and named the PBC Tournament MVP last season.

The All-Conference team is below, as selected by the league's head coaches. The size of the team was increased to 15 following ties in the voting. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
