Box Score HARROGATE, TN - Augusta University women's volleyball coach Sharon Quarles recorded the 500^th victory of her career on Saturday afternoon.
Quarles reached the milestone in impressive fashion, as her Jaguars recorded their eighth win in a row over Mars Hill.
 
While the victory was the 500^th of Quarles head coaching career, it was her 269^th win as the head coach at Augusta, a position that she's held since the 2009 season. During her tenue, Quarles has led the Jaguar to three NCAA tournament appearances – including an Elite Eight appearance last season for the first time in school history.
 
Prior to taking the helm at Augusta, Quarles spent three years as the head coach of Franklin Pierce and five years at West Chester. Her coaching resumes also includes four years as head coach the University of Maine at Machias.
